It was a sad day when the long standing Robin’s Bookstore went through it’s dramatic downsizing. Thankful, Robin’s lives onthrough Moonstone Art, a growing venue for some of the most interesting literary and music events in the city. There is too much happening at Moonstone, both Brother’s sponsored and otherwise, to fit into any one email. And frankly we as such fans we would rather stretch out posts about Moonstone at infinitum.

Coming up on Friday June 11th, Moonstone continues it’s monthly Lucky Old Souls of jazz series with DOUG HIRLINGER’S
WAVEFORM RAZORBACK and BRASS, SKINS, & STRINGS COLLECTIVE. Lucky Old Souls @ Moonstone showcases some of Philadelphia’s most creative musicians in a laid-back, BYOB venue that combines the intimacy of a club with a concert hall’s respect for the music. $10 at the door, $8 in advance.
